Pet Star Recycling owns and manages the petstar.ro website.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy on the processing of personal data, the following terms will be defined as follows:

Your personal data will be treated in accordance with current personal data protection legislation and will be used by Pet Star Recycling for the following purposes:

Protecting our employees, headquarters, facilities and operations. In order to fulfill its legal obligations, Pet Star Recycling processes personal data for: the execution and improvement of our services and products; compliance with the specific obligations of service providers; administrative-financial management; managing the controls performed by the authorities; ensuring security inside Pet Star Recycling; preservation, storage (prior to archiving) and archiving of documents; implementation of personal data security measures.

In order to fulfill the aforementioned purposes, Pet Star Recycling will rely, insofar as necessary, on its legitimate interest in carrying out its object of activity.

For the execution of contracts concluded between Pet Star Recycling and customers, employees, collaborators/ contractual partners (eg in order to provide our products and services; performing or processing payment transactions; recruitment and training of employees; employee remuneration; evaluation of employee performance; finding, exercising or defending Pet Star Recycling's rights in court, handling complaints and notifications received about our products and/ or services) or to take action before concluding a contract.

Your explicit consent when we do not rely on any other legal basis (eg by communicating information and/ or personalized offers about products, services and activities as a result of your requests for image/ video processing; for processing special categories of data). The consent may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the legality of the processing activities carried out before the withdrawal.

Pet Star Recycling undertakes to protect personal data against the loss, misuse, destruction or damage or unauthorized or illegal processing and takes all reasonable precautions to protect the confidentiality of such data, including through the use of organizational measures and appropriate techniques. Organizational measures include controlling physical access to our offices, training staff and locking physical files in storage cabinets. Technical measures include the use of encryption, passwords for access to our systems, the use of SSL security certificates, for the encryption of data in transit, etc.

The number of Pet Star Recycling employees who have access to personal data is limited. In order to achieve the stated processing purposes, Pet Star Recycling will process personal data during the performance of the services provided, as well as subsequently, when there is a legitimate commercial need to do so (eg to provide you with the requested information or to comply with our legal, fiscal or accounting obligations). It is possible that, following the fulfillment of the legal archiving deadlines, Pet Star Recycling may order the anonymization of the data, thus depriving them of their personal character and continue to process the anonymous data for statistical purposes.

The right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automatic processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly affecting you to a significant extent.

Pet Star Recycling does not make such profiling that is followed by automated decisions with legal or similar effect significant to you. When we make such profiling, we will notify you and amend this information note

The right to file a complaint. It is important for Pet Star Recycling to feel safe about the processing of your personal data.
